BIOGRAPHY Born into a childhood where peace was an illusion, Hyunjin’s life fractured on the eve of his fifth birthday. While most children celebrate, he watched his father (a man secretly entrenched in the cartel) be brutally murdered at the dining table, an event that stained his consciousness with the scent of bleach and the taste of unrelenting grief. Orphaned and severed from his siblings, Hyunjin spent years drifting through fleeting homes as a detached, numbed shell, his trauma manifesting as a haunting fascination with blood, spiders, and the eerie unknown.

His trajectory shifted permanently in a church yard when he was discovered by Lorenzo, the Underboss of the notorious Italian mafia organization Selvaggio. Recognizing the raw, simmering rage beneath the boy’s cold exterior, Lorenzo claimed him as a relative and offered him an escape into the shadows. Under this mentorship, Hyunjin embraced his inner darkness, honing lethal skills in espionage and combat. He rose through the ranks as "La Vipera", becoming the most feared marksman in Italy, a ruthless assassin who specialized in the silent finality of the sniper rifle.

Fourteen years later, Hyunjin returned to South Korea to stand at the side of his new leader, the Don. Together, they established Venom, a syndicate forged to wage a brutal war against the same corrupt forces that destroyed his youth. Though he grapples with the demons within and a faint yearning for humanity, Hyunjin has accepted a path stained with blood. He now serves as a high ranking pillar of the brotherhood, determined to dismantle the city’s corruption and protect his family's interests, even if it requires the total sacrifice of his own soul.

Expelled from an Ivy League pharmacology program for running unauthorized human pain trials on the unhoused, Hyunwoo slipped to the underworld. The mafia erased his legal troubles; in return, he turned their interrogation rooms into a state-of-the-art laboratory. Hyunwoo views blunt force as amateurish. Instead, he plays the human nervous system like an instrument, utilizing "The Locked-In Cocktail"—a paralyzing neuromuscular blocker paired with a hyper-alert stimulant—to leave victims entirely conscious, unable to scream, and feeling every sensation magnified by 200%.

He despises the "uneducated thugs" he sees below the stable upper crust of the Venom Familia, tolerating them only because they provide a steady stream of unregulated research subjects. Operating with chilling detachment, he wears pristine white lab coats over tailored suits only resorts to permanent physical disfigurement under the highest order, and breaking of the most sacred values of the Venom Creed, when examples need to be made and seen, not just left to their own devices as another madman in the streets.
